How/when should I use the QuickSmooth Brush?

Attach the QuickSmooth Brush to your Shark SpeedStyle and use on all hair types to dry, straighten, and shine--all at the same time. The combination of bristles enable grabbing, smoothing, and shining. The QuickSmooth Brush is rotatable, so you can reach all areas with ease. Best for straight, wavy, curly, and coily hair.

How can I create even more volume with the QuickSmooth Brush ?

Split your hair into smaller sections to give you better root access. Place the brush under the sectioned hair and brush in an upward motion to help build volume at the roots. Hold the brush at the root for 3 to 5 seconds before pulling it through the hair for even more volume.

What does the button with the blue dot on the middle of the handle do?

This is the Cool Shot Button. When you hold it down, it turns off the heater and blows room-temperature air. This helps close the cuticle and smooth the hair at the end of styling. It takes about 10 seconds for the air to reach ambient temperature.

Why does the heat and airflow change when I attach accessories?

The hair dryer has accessory recognition, so it knows which accessory is attached and automatically sets the heat and airflow to the optimal settings. You can always opt out and change the heat and airflow by manually pressing the Air and Temperature buttons on the back of the dryer.

How do I unfold and fold the dryer?

To unfold the dryer for use, hold the handle with one hand and twist the nozzle in the direction of the open arrow. To fold the dryer for storage, hold the handle with one hand and twist the nozzle in the direction of the close arrow.

How do I enter Scalp Shield Mode?

Press and hold the temperature button for 2 seconds. You will know the dryer is in Scalp Shield Mode when the IQ LED on the back of the unit and the low-heat LED turn blue.
