This helps maintain consistent heat and avoid excessive temperature spikes, so you get controlled heat during styling and reduce unnecessary heat exposure to your hair.

Why does my SilkiPro Straight turn off when I place it down?

SilkiPro Straight uses a built-in motion sensor (accelerometer) that detects when the unit is set down or not in use. When this happens, the tool automatically turns off airflow to reduce noise pollution. Simply pick the unit back up or turn it on again to continue styling.

Setting memory - Does SilkiPro Straight remember my last settings?

SilkiPro Straight starts with default temperature settings the first time you switch it on. As you use the tool, it remembers the last temperature and airflow you selected in both Wet Mode and Dry Mode, so when you switch back into that mode, it returns to your most recently used setting. This allows SilkiPro Straight to adapt to how you style.

Which direction should the airflow be facing when I use SilkiPro Straight?

For best results, the airflow should be directed down the length of your hair, from roots to ends. Make sure you are positioning SilkiPro Straight so the airflow follows the natural direction of hair growth as you glide through each section. Tip: The "Shark" logo must always be straight and the comb track should be towards the bottom of your hair.

Does SilkiPro Straight have auto shut-off?

If left on without use for 3 minutes, SilkiPro Straight will automatically shut off to save energy and for safety.

Which comb should I use and when?

Wide-Tooth Comb: prep, stretch, and rough-dry in Wet Mode. Gentle or Precision Comb: more tension and control for smoothing and styling, especially in Wet & Dry Mode.
